An introduction to using Google My Maps in the classroom. Google My Maps lets you quickly and easily make custom maps, and share them with friends or colleagues. Whether you’d like to visualize protected forest areas, food drive drop-off areas, or the locations of your project sites among other things this presentation/workshop is for you! Participants will be shown real examples of teacher/student created maps. Participants will need a laptop and a Gmail account in order to participate.

Darren McQuaid is a Middle School Social Studies teacher who likes to learn and bring new technology/ideas into his classroom to help facilitate the learning process.
