What should science look like in the elementary classroom? Take simple activities and turn them into science demonstrations that will promote and support students' understanding.

Pedro Toledo is a graduate of Florida State University. He has been teaching for over 20 years, starting in Florida and currently at Daegu International School (DIS). In recent years, Pedro has focused on teaching math and science to upper elementary. Pedro coordinates the DIS STEM Fair for Elementary students and assists and supports the SKAC STEM FAIR. Pedro works to promote understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) among students and teachers.
