What Can Robots Do for Me? Using Robots in STEAM and Design Classes
Limited Capacity seats available

Do you like science? Art? Engineering? Technology? Do you also like robots? Would you like to put the two together and make your classes even cooler than they already are? Do you want your students to rapidly prototype, code, build and design unique robots to solve problems and meet challenges? Come to this session where we discuss different platforms for robotics in grades four to twelve. We will learn about LEGO EV3, Arduinos, Makeymakeys, and more. We will discuss projects and units that robotics can help make learning a great experience, and build some robots of our own.

Michael Bycraft has been teaching robotics, design, and engineering at Korea International School since 2015. He has helped design makerspaces and robotics programs for the elementary, middle and high school at KIS. Before moving international, he taught AP, IB, and general sciences, in the United States for a decade. His robotics and engineering programs and students have presented on the local, national, and international level. Sometimes, they even won.
