Toxic stress and caring for traumatized children/breath health education program for girls in grades 5-12 for school nurses.

Miyoung Cho has served as a school nurse for over 17 years at DODEA Korea schools and as a nurse officer in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. She is a lifetime member of the 38th Parallel Nursing Society and member of the KORCOS for the past 11 years. She has been actively involved in numerous school, community, and host nation initiatives and programs that help to promote healthier lifestyles for the students. She loves to help care for the medical, physical, and social needs of students, staff, and parents.

The Living Library - How to Bring One to Your School

A living library is a powerful event that builds community and deepens students understanding about humanity on a personal level.In this workshop, I will tell you about my experience organizing and hosting a living library in our middle and upper school. How I reached out to get participants how the day was organized as well as the deeper impact in our school community.

Catherine Buchanan is in her 6th year as the Middle/Upper School Librarian at Chadwick International. As of this writing, she has hosted 2 Living Libraries and hopes to have the 3rd one wrapped up by the time of the conference.
